Researchers

The research partners of PREVNet represent the leading researchers in Canada on bullying, aggression, victimization, and children’s relationships. These experts are committed to studying the nature, causes, and consequences of these behaviours, along with the most effective measures and interventions to reduce them and promote healthy relationships among children and youth. To ensure that communities across the country have access to this research-based information, PREVNet is creating partnerships to connect Canadian researchers with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and government ministries that work with children and youth. These partnerships provide powerful opportunities to exchange expertise and to collaborate on how research and technology for education, assessment, intervention, and policy development can be transferred into homes, schools, recreation centres and communities across Canada.

There are currently 58 Canadian researchers who are part of the PREVNet Network, spanning Canada from coast to coast and representing 24 universities.
