Ms. Peggy Moss

Peggy Moss is the author of three award-winning children's books: Say Something,, Our Friendship Rules and One of Us. A lawyer and former hate violence prosecutor, Peggy served as Assistant Attorney General in the civil rights unit of the Maine Department of Attorney General, and as Associate Director of the Center For the Prevention of Hate Violence before beginning her writing career. She is a graduate of Princeton University and Washington College of Law at American University. For more than a decade, Peggy has given presentations to groups ranging from kindergarten and high school students and educators to law enforcement, health care workers, parents and camp staff on the issues of bullying, teasing, and hate violence. She has been interviewed for her expertise by the The Boston Globe, The Globe and Mail and Discovery Channel, among others.
