Dr. Alexa Bagnell

Dr. Alexa Bagnell is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is a clinician researcher and a founder of the Treatment of Anxiety Group and the OCD Clinic at the IWK Health Centre. Dr. Bagnell is also currently the Interim Chief, IWK Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Her research focuses on promoting earlier intervention for mental health disorders, specifically through school and web-based programs.

She received her PhD from Dalhousie University and her MA from Oxford University. Dr. Bagnell also completed her Psychiatry/Child Psychiatry residency at Harvard University.
