Dr. Ouellet-Morin holds a PhD in clinical psychology, is an associate professor at the School of criminology (University of Montreal), and holds the Canada Research Chair in the developmental origins of vulnerability and resilience. Dr Ouellet-Morn investigates the genetic, neurophysiological and socioemotional mechanisms by which early adversity affects vulnerability to mental health problems and antisocial behavior. Dr Ouellet-Morin is the co-director of the Centre Axel – a technological intelligence accelerator in mental health – where she supports the development and validation of new technologies to prevent and reduce mental health, as well as promoting resilience in the face of adversity.
