Dr. Sylvana Côtéis also a Researcher in the Research Group on Children’s Psychosocial Maladaptive Development at the University of Montreal. Her research interests are focused on atypical development and the prevention of psychosocial difficulties for children. Dr. Côté is interested in the antecedents of adolescents’’ antisocial behaviours and the consequences as they move into adulthood, examining sex differences in psychosocial adjustment. Her intervention research focuses on using educational daycares as a prevention strategy to reduce problems with psychosocial and educational difficulties among preschool children.
