Mr. Josh Chynces is an active volunteer with some organizations including but not limited to: PREVNet, and Canadian Red Cross. Mr. Chynces started out with Canadian Red Cross in 2004 as a volunteer and is now a Supervising First Aid Instructor, Disaster Management Volunteer, Beyond the Hurt Youth Facilitator, and became one of Canadian Red Cross’ National Youth Representatives to PREVNet’s National Youth Advisory Committee. Also with the Canadian Red Cross Mr. Chynces served on many different projects, events, committees, programs, and has been deployed to disasters. Mr. Chynces served with many other organizations, teams and committees including but not limited to: Sarnia First Aid, Huron House Boys Home, and Sarnia Minor Athletics Association Boys Baseball Division. With Sarnia Minor Athletics Association Mr. Chynces served as a Director, assistant Chief Umpire, T-ball coach and some other functions.  Also with Huron House Boys Home Mr. Chynces was also in charge of safety and security for the Father’s Day annual Run/Walk/Skate/Bike event.

In 2013, Mr. Chynces received the Lieutenant Governor’s Community Volunteer Award and Insignia Pin for his service in his community. As well he has received other awards for his accomplishments in sports and volunteering.

In 2013, Mr. Chynces went to school to become a Paramedic at Lambton College and graduated in April 2015. During his time in the Paramedic Program Mr. Chynces volunteered for events in a first aid capacity, helped with lab classes and was a member of the review committee for this program.

In 2015, Mr. Chynces begin his Paramedic Career with North West Emergency Medical Services and is currently a Primary Care Paramedic for this service.
