Dr. Mona Paré

Mona Paré, PhD,  is Associate Professor at University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law, Civil Law Section. She is a founding member of the Interdisciplinary Research Laboratory on the Rights of the Child (IRLRC/LRIDE). Her research interests focus on children’s rights in education, vulnerability and discrimination, child participation, and access to justice. She is the principal investigator in a research project funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, and the Canadian Bar Association, aiming to define a child rights-based approach to school violence and to develop an evaluation tool to assess anti-violence/bullying initiatives against children’s rights.
