Review of Rehtaeh Parson’s case could lead to new anti-bullying guidelines

Dr. Debra Pepler and Penny Milton, former CEO of the Canadian Education Association, who were appointed by the Nova Scotia government to look in to the Parsons case, presented their interim report on Monday on the scope of their review, laying out 10 questions they want to answer on anti-bullying programs.
The report will focus on whether existing policies, procedures and training on cyberbullying in Halifax schools are adequate and will also examine the support services provided by schools, the IWK Health Centre in Halifax, the Capital District Health Authority and the police for people who are bullied.
