PREVNet Partner, the RCMP’s new initiative includes important information on bullying & cyberbullying

PREVNet is proud to have contributed to the Centre for Youth Crime Prevention website, a new one stop shop for all RCMP youth crime prevention resources.

The Centre for Youth Crime Prevention (CYCP) website provides Canadians with evidence-informed and age appropriate crime prevention messages, information, tools, and programs to prevent youth crime and victimization. There is a video on cyberbullying and special section on bullying with many of the resources provided by PREVNet.

The CYCP website also includes fact sheets, lesson plans, interactive learning tools as well as links to other resources covering important youth crime prevention topics.

New sections include “Ask an Expert,” which allows youth from all over Canada to ask questions to experts on various issues, and “What’s Trending,” which invites youth to use social media to let us know what is going on in their communities.
