Just Released: New Workshop on Online Image for Teen Girls

MediaSmarts, in collaboration with the eGirls Project, have developed a new workshop for teen girls (grades 7-9) discussing the issues around image and identity in digital media and social networks.  The workshop features a video, Half Girl, Half Face, that shares the story of a teenaged girl whose image goes viral.  The video is also accompanied by a facilitator's guide.  The workshop is designed for both community and school settings.
