Dr. Wendy Craig Invested in the Order of Ontario

PREVNet's Scientific Co-Director, and Queen's University Professor, Dr. Wendy Craig has been invested in the Order of Ontario.  Dr. Craig receives this honour in recognition of her ongoing work in bullying prevention and the promotion of healthy relationships.  Dr. Craig notes that through her work with Scientific Co-Director Dr. Debra Pepler, and PREVNet, significant impacts and contributions have been made in the field. Dr. Craig suggests, "This is really an Order of Ontario for PREVNet."

A formal ceremony is being held today in Toronto, where 27 appointees will receive the honour. The Order of Ontario honours current or former Ontario residents demonstrating "the best of Ontario's caring and diverse society and whose lives have benefited society in Ontario and elsewhere."
