In this resource, Dr. Deinera Exner-Cortens, Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Calgary and co-leader of PREVNet, discusses healthy youth relationships and teen dating violence. Dr. Exner-Cortens shares what healthy, unhealthy, and abusive relationships look like and how dating violence shows up in Canada. This video also provides resources created by youth for youth on healthy relationships, warning signs of dating violence, and what to do if you are experiencing dating violence. We encourage you to share this video with your class and have a discussion about what healthy relationships mean to your students.
