Dr. Danielle Quigley speaks to CBC Radio's All In A Day about the importance of science in bullying prevention programs

CBC Radio's All In a Day interviewed Dr. Danielle Quigley, PREVNet's post doctoral fellow to discuss the importance of research in bullying prevention programs.

Dr. Quigley explains the importance of addressing the root cause of bullying - the inability to engage in a healthy relationship  - in any program. She also discusses why some programs that might seem like a good idea, may not be effective.

Dr. Quigley discusses tools available for schools and organizations to help them find an effective, evidence-based program including PREVNet's BEST: Bullying Evaluation and Strategies Tool and our project with the Public Health Agency of Canada: Canada's Best Practice Portal - Violence Prevention Stream
