François Poulin received his PhD in developmental psychology at Université Laval in 1996 and completed a post-doc at the Oregon Social Learning Center. His research interests focus on children and adolescents normal and pathological social development especially in the peer context. Current research projects are focusing on 1) a longitudinal investigation of problem behaviour in adolescence, 2) a cross-cultural (Canada, Italy and USA) examination of substance use in adolescence, and 3) the prevention of conduct disorders in kindergarten and first grade.
