PREVNet partner, the Canadian Red Cross has invited our scientific co-director, Dr. Wendy Craig, to give a presentation on "Bullying Prevention: What You Need to Know". This event is open to the public and is especially geared to parents in the community. Bullying is the #1 concern of Canadian parents and this event is designed to help parents understand the links between healthy relationships and bullying behaviours, and what they can do to help their children whether they are victimized, engage in bullying behaviours, or are bystanders.

The Canadian Red Cross is a strong PREVNet partner. This event is a wonderful opportunity to engage parents on bullying prevention as a lead up to April 9th Day of Pink activities. This year, the Canadian Red Cross asks the community to "Imagine No Bullying". Working together to promote healthy relationships is how PREVNet and the Canadian Red Cross are taking steps to achieve that goal.
