Tom Hollenstein studies adolescent emotional development from a dynamic systems perspective. He worked at the Oregon Social Learning Center for 5 years as an observational data manager and analyst. He received his masters degree from the University of Oregon and then studied with Marc Lewis at the University of Toronto, where he received his Ph.D. in 2005. Dr. Hollenstein is now an assistant professor at Queens University in Kingston conducting research that combines observational and psychophysiological techniques. He is also a leading expert in state space grid analysis and distributes the free software GridWare (www.statespacegrids.org).
