Dr. Claire Beaumont

Claire Beaumont (Ph.D, Educational Psychology) is Full Professor at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Université Laval, Québec, Canada. She holds the Research Chair on School Security and Violence in Schools of the Laval University (www.violence-ecole.ulaval.ca), and she is  general secretary of the International Observatory on School Violence. Her researches focuses on training school staff to better support students with behavioural disorders, on the training to better help school staff in creating and implement an action plan to prevent and reduce violence in school, peer support systems, collaborative practices in school, and evaluation of the  school violence.
