A new Intimate Partner Violence Prevention Program has just been launched by the Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity (CCGSD). The program aims to increase capacity of LGBTQ2S+ agencies in Canada by providing tools, information on services and training to support victims of physical assault, and emotional abuse.

The Centre is working with LGBTQ2S+ agencies, law enforcement, government organizations, and non-LGBTQ2S+ organizations to create best practices to address the gaps in victim services and increase access to justice for LGBTQ2S+ people.

As part of a planned research study to help inform their programming, CCGSD has created a short (15 min) LGBTQ2S+ Vicotim Experience Survey to assess gaps in service delivery in Canada.
