Background: PREVNet  is one of four communities of practice in Ontario’s new Knowledge Network for Student Well-Being led by the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board and the Offord Centre for Child Studies at McMaster University  and funded by the Ontario Ministry of Education with the goal of implementing best practices with Ontario’s teachers for student well-being in schools. PREVNet is leading one of the four communities of practice (safe and accepting schools), which are aligned with the four key components of Ontario’s well-being strategy.
