Tsorng-Yeh Lee, RN, Ph.D. has been a full-time faculty member at the School of Nursing at York University since 2010. She obtained her B.S. degree in Taiwan and her masters and Ph.D. in the USA. Her program of research after coming to York is focused on immigrant healthcare services. There are two sub-focuses in her research program. The first one is maternity health service which builds on her prior clinical and research experience in Taiwan. The second sub-focus is cancer services. She currently conducts researches on Canadian maternity health care services: immigrant men and women’s experiences as well as Evaluating a culturally and language friendly cancer support group program in York Region.

Her previous research includes a) Immigrant Chinese men’s psychosocial responses regarding their partner’s pregnancy and childbirth, b) Expectant fathers: the lived experience of recent immigrant Chinese men in Canada and c) Health and social service utilization among childbearing Chinese new immigrants in Canada. She has disseminated her research through articles published in peer reviewed Nursing Journals and conference presentations.

She is teaching in the Undergraduate as well as the Graduate Programs in the School of Nursing.
